I recently rented a cabin with a group. The staff and owners were very nice and accommodating. We asked to add extra adults and our dog and they obliged (for an extra charge). The cabin was rustic, but nice and comfortable. The beds were fantastic and my only complaint about the cabin itself was that the floors were very sandy when we arrived. We had to sweep before we could settle in. The resort is situated very close to the lake, which is huge and beautiful. The cabins are situated within the quite open RV park so there is not a lot of privacy either way you decide to stay (camp or cabin). We found that everything we wanted to do in the area was a drive so prepare for that if you stay here (golf, hiking, boat rental). Overall, it was an enjoyable stay in a gorgeous area.
The cabins are clean,nice,roomie and the beach is really fun, and the beach is really big so you can be you own space the people that work there are really nice and help full I really recommend that you go to this lake
Nice resort with friendly service. Stayed in the group site and was very happy with the size of the area for our group.
We went here for years and years and the place has declined big time. We had to cancel our site 10 days in advance and they still charged us 175 dollars cancellation fee saying we needed to cancel 30 days in advance !!! Ridiculous. Sad to say but the management has ruined the place and after over a decade of going every Yeah, we will not be returning.
Not the greatest resort. Campsites are very open, the bathrooms are rarely cleaned and when they are cleaned they aren't cleaned well. The sites only have 15amp power so on really hot days you can't even run the air conditioner. The owners aren't the nicest people. We were too loud one night around the campfire and instead of a friendly warning to be more quiet we were told were were going to be kicked out if it happened again. The only nice thing I have to say about the resort is that the beach is pretty nice. We probably wont be coming back.
